
Extraordinary and a multi-talented artist, E.G. Daily, is back into the
music scene with a brand new CD, Tearing Down The Walls, released on her own
Tommy T Records. The album is a collection of new tunes co-produced by E.G. along with
Grammy-Award winner Brad Gilderman and Harvey Mason Jr., showcasing the singers
strong, soulful voice with passionate, moving songs about love, rebirth and
self-discovery. With beautiful arrangements and dramatic vocals, E.G. brings forth
honesty, intimacy and inspiration whether singing of not limiting yourself and
breaking through your own barriers to free yourself from living in a box in "The
Walls", letting go and enjoying what one has in "Dont Even Care", or
making a breath-taking spiritual call in "Breath Of Heaven".
Guilty of "Tearing
Down The Walls", E.G. has caught the attention of legendary producer/hitmaker, Nile
Rodgers, who signed the pop singer to his newly formed distribution company, Sumthing
Distribution. "The first time I heard Tearing Down The Walls, I was blown
away," stated Rodgers. "I am thrilled to be working with E.G. to bring her
amazing work to new audiences." Other well-known producers with whom E.G. has
collaborated include Giorgio Moroder, Keith Forsey, Stock, Aikman & Waterman, Jelly
Bean Benitez and Harold Faltermeyer.
Diversified
and gifted, E.G.s talents are not strictly limited to music. E.G. Dailys
resume also include a prolific career as a voice-over artist. E.G.s voice astounds
as Tommy Pickles, the beloved character on Nickelodeons top-rated series as well as
the animated feature hit, Rugrats. The singer has also lent her voice to Babe in
the live-action feature Babe Pig In The City, Problem Child, Baby Blues,
Duckman, Duck Days and Jungle Cubs. She also provided the voice of Froggie in the
movie The Little Rascals as well as Bam Bam in The Flintstones, and Lorenzo
in the Academy Award-winning Lorenzos Oil.
Additionally,
E.G.s experience in movies is not only limited to voice-over work. She has starred
in more than fifteen feature films as an actress. E.G. has graced the movie theater
screens with roles in Pee Wees Big Adventure, Valley Girl, Dogfight, Streets Of
Fire, Fandango and Lover Boy. She will star next in a new independent film, Bobs
Video, directed by Dino Andrade, which will also feature one of her original songs,
"Just Cant Say Goodbye". As for the small screen, E.G. is also credited
for her guest-appearance on NBC Hit TV sitcom, Friends, as Phoebes
songwriting partner.
Inherently
gifted, the chart-topping singer/songwriter has ventured into the world of film scores.
E.G. has composed and performed on a number of soundtracks including Scarface, The
Breakfast Club, Thief Of Hearts and Summer School. Most recently, she recorded
"Heart Thats True" with producer Bob Ezrin for the Babe Pig In The City
soundtrack.
Landing a number
one hit in the eighties with her catchy pop tune "Say It, Say It", E.G. Daily
made a name for herself in the music world. Several of her songs soared to the top of
Billboards dance and pop charts and became well-received music videos.Prior to
releasing Tearing Down The Walls, Daily co-wrote and co-produced two solo albums, "Wild
Child" and "Lace Around The Wound" on A&M Records.
