TONY GOWER AND ELIZABETH PETERSON, TWO OF THE OWNERS OF ROYAL CLAYTONS, BORDELLO AND THE SOON TO OPEN BRIDGE TAVERN, TIE THE KNOT IN A PRIVATE CEREMONY AT THE RESTAURANT ON NOVEMBER 19

Tony Gower and Elizabeth Peterson , two of the owners of Downtown L.A. Arts District hotspots Royal Claytons and Bordello , complemented their long-thriving business partnership by getting married at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 19, in a simple private ceremony attended by family and friends.

Among those joining the happy couple were their partners Dana Hollister and Jim Venuto, who along with Gower and Peterson will soon complete a “trifecta” in the area with the opening of Bridge Tavern, their most intriguing creation yet, in January 2008. The success of Royal Claytons, an English pub styled restaurant and tavern, and the provocative nightclub Bordello has over the past two years reshaped the social climate of this newly revitalized district.

The nuptials took place, naturally, at Royal Claytons, which recently won the 2007 Editors' Choice Best of Downtown Award for Best Pool Table as voted by L.A. Downtown News. This award came just a few months after the took the Rose for Best New Restaurant of the year at The Downtown Breakfast Club's 27th Annual Roses and Lemon Awards Breakfast at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in April.

Gower and Peterson met and fell in love while developing Royal Claytons and other projects in their beloved Downtown L.A.

Great personal friends who are all committed to seeing their dynamic visions through, Hollister, Gower and Peterson's ultimate goal with their three revolutionary establishments is simple: to continue their mission of building a certain “connectivity” on the cutting edge of the city, where a nightlife in the Arts District can not only exist, but thrive some 15 to 20 years down the road.
