BRIAN ANTHONY
EVERYTHING'S FANTASTIC (AS IN FANTASTIC FOUR 2) FOR THE CHARISMATIC DANCE MUSIC HEARTTHROB, WHO'S ABOUT TO DROP A HOT 16-TRACK REMIX PACKAGE OF HIS DEBUT SINGLE “WHATSITGONNAB? (I'M SO READY)”
Brian, Whose Song Is Part Of The Bonus Feature's Wedding Montage On The New DVD of Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Has Performed For The Special Olympics And American Cancer Society, Loves To Paint, Draw Cartoons And Divvy Out Just Baked Cookies To His Dancers In His New Music Video!
On his explosive debut single, Brian Anthony (www.brian-anthony.com) asks fans of all ages a simple, cool title question: “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready).” Fans enjoying his tasty beats on dance floors everywhere and in the comfort of their own living rooms--thanks to the song's inclusion as a bonus feature on the new DVD release of Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer --have a great answer for the charismatic singer, songwriter and performer: a superstar career, just up ahead.
Life's a total blast these days for the handsome and ultra-charming performer. Teenage girls think he's a hotty and guys dig his vibe, cool beats and business savvy. He's a great role model who loves to “help out” the community by “giving back” through his talents-- so even their parents can give him props as they groove along to his latest release.
His upcoming album Bionic, due to drop in 2008, is going to feature “Champion,” the song he wrote a few years ago as the theme to the 2005 Special Olympics Summer Games. In 2006, he sang the national anthem at their Winter Games Opening Ceremonies. He's also performed at the Relay For Life events put on by the American Cancer Society.
There's no cooler DVD out there right now than Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, which is totally this holiday season's big stocking stuffer to beat around the world! It's already sold over six million units since its release in the U.S. October 2nd and will continue on its global release until March of next year. How's that for exposure? Brian's track—let's say it again, it's too happening not to—“WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)”—is part of a wedding montage scene in the Bonus Features section. He's credited on the DVD and there's also a link to his myspace page.
Over the past months, Brian's been working with a bunch of the world's A-List club remixers as they add their irrepressible beats to “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)” as part of an awesome 16-track DJ Remix package being promoted in the U.S. by the number one dance radio promotions company in the country, PRO MOTION/ Strategic Brand Partners (www.promolift.com) out of New York and PitchControl Marketing (www.pitchcontrolmarketing.com) out of Los Angeles, California. There's also the potential for Brian to simultaneously release the package across the pond and take on the UK!
The big guns he's vibing with on this are Chus & Ceballos , Albert Castillo , Rod Carrillo , Rui Da Silva and Chris Noxx . You've been digging these guys' work forever. Chus and Ceballos are currently one of the hottest international DJ/producer teams right now; their recent pop remixes include “Hung Up” by Madonna and “Stars Are Blind” by Paris Hilton. Castillo's recent projects include remixes of “With Love” and “Stranger” from Hilary Duff's new Dignity album and “Don't Stop The Music” for Rihanna.
Rod Carrillo is a program director for one of the country's top dance stations (Phoenix's KNRJ & KAJM-Mega104.3 and ENERGY ARIZONA FM) who has remixed tracks by Kat De Luna (“Whine Up!”) and RBD (“Tu Amor”) and is currently on the dance charts with Arizona Bump. Da Silva's remixes include J-Lo's “Play,” Lighthouse Family's “Happy” and Nelly Furtado's “Forca.” Chris Noxx is a Canadian hip-hop king, doing tracks for the writers of teen pop stars such as Vanessa Hudgens and Chris Brown, among others.
Right now, Brian is also in the process of shooting his second music video for the track with six dancers. Without giving it ALL away, the theme for the video involves “time travel” and will feature footage from Fantastic Four 2. They're going to do a lot of shooting in front of a green screen, and later will incorporate clips of the film from different places around the world. The first day Brian hung out with his dancers for rehearsals for the video, he brought them coconut chocolate chip cookies he baked himself! Yep, when he's home chilling, (or just bored) that's what he loves to do—bake cookies! Who knew?!?! The boy's got mad skillz in the kitchen, y'all! Look out Emeril!
In the immortal words of the “COME AND GET IT” tag line—this all sounds: “Mmmm…mmmm, TASTY!”
So, whatsitgonnaB? Are you ready?

The Original Version Of The Track Is Set To Be
A Bonus Feature On The Fantastic Four: Rise Of
The Silver Surfer DVD, Out This Christmas
Dance floors across the world will be slammin' this fall, with everyone asking “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)” as they groove and vibe along to various remixes of multi-talented singer, songwriter and performer Brian Anthony's explosive new single.
A handful of the globe's A-List club remixers are gearing up to add their irrepressible beats to the track as part of a unique DJ Remix package being promoted worldwide by dance industry veteran Sergio Goncalves of PitchControl Marketing . On board as of late July are Rui Da Silva , Albert Castillo and Chus & Ceballos .
Renowned as one of the world's best tribal/progressive DJs and producers, Rui Da Silva shot to immediate fame when he became the first Portuguese musician to score a #1 U.K. hit with his 2001 breakthrough dance single “Touch Me.” The founder of the U.K. based Kismet Records, he is both an established solo artist and a first call remixer; among his dance remixes for major artists are Jennifer Lopez's “Play,” Lighthouse Family's “Happy” and Nelly Furtado's “Forca.”
“Rui has the credibility factor for being very choosey and very underground and the ‘real deal' type of remixer,” says Brian. “He's very much a celebrity in his own right, especially in the U.K. Since he's so picky about who he works with, it's cool that he liked both ‘In My Dreams' and ‘WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)' as songs he's interested in remixing.”
Over the past 10 years, Albert Castillo has done remix projects for a wide variety of major labels, including Epic, Reprise, Tommy Boy and Universal. His recent projects include remixes of “With Love” and “Stranger” from Hilary Duff's new Dignity album and “Don't Stop The Music” for Rihanna. Formerly part of a remix duo with The Riddler, Castillo's extensive credits also include tracks for Gloria Estefan, Cher, Jocelyn Enriquez, Billie and Reina.
After years of producing house and trance music under a variety of names, DJ Chus, along with fellow DJ and producer Pablo Ceballos and manager Carlos Calico founded the label Stereo Productions in 2001. Collaborating on progressive house releases, Chus and Ceballos are currently one of the hottest international DJ/producer teams right now. Their recent pop remixes include “Hung Up” by Madonna and “Stars Are Blind” by Paris Hilton.
In addition to all of this remix activity, “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)” is also the latest of Brian Anthony's major motion picture soundtrack sensations. Come Christmastime, everyone who buys the DVD of the new summer blockbuster Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer —or gets it as a stocking stuffer--is going to hear the track during a Bonus Feature wedding montage. Brian's name, credit and myspace link will also be prominently featured.
This follows the incredible rise of his track “Come and Get It” in Spain (where it was a #13 single), Italy, Russia and South Africa after the song was included over the end titles of Garfield 2: Tail of Two Kitties upon the film's release in Germany. Fox used portions of the track's promo video for a special World Cup promotion, and later included it as a bonus feature on the worldwide release of the film's DVD, which sold over two million copies worldwide; a European label quickly snatched up the song.

Brian's singles are fueled by undeniably sexy, upbeat urban/dance-pop cleverness, and his performances are driven by his matinee idol good looks, hot dance moves and rich, powerful vocals which put him on par with superstar masters of the genre like Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Daniel Bedingfield. Brian recently completed the old school electro pop track appropriately titled “Electricity”—the final song for his highly anticipated debut album Bionic .
Bionic will include a new urban-flavored version of “Champion,” which he wrote as the theme song of the 2005 Special Olympics Summer Games. The inspirational song was later released on iTunes, where it caught the attention of corporate giant Wal-mart; Wal-mart licensed the ballad and used it in a campaign for its worldwide internal company conferences designed to motivate employees and revamp their global image.

‘Bionic' Will Also Feature An Urban Revamp Of “Champion,” The Inspirational Song Brian Wrote As The Theme For
The 2005 Special Olympics Summer Games' Televised Opening Ceremonies
In a few months, when Brian Anthony's infectious, edgy dance/pop single “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)” is scaling the Billboard Dance charts and setting clubs afire nationwide, fans will no doubt be relating to the flirtatious overtures of the song's lyrics. But the track's subtitle also refers to the multi-talented singer, songwriter and performer's burgeoning career. After vast success overseas with his equally hot, attitude driven club track “Come And Get It” in 2006-07, the San Francisco area native is definitely about to explode stateside.
The spectacular rise of “Come And Get It” in Spain (where the single hit #13 on the country's Top 20 Singles Chart only two weeks after its release), Italy, Russia and South Africa began after the song was included over the end titles of Garfield 2: Tail of Two Kitties upon the film's release in Germany. Fox used portions of the track's promo video for a special World Cup promotion, and later included it as a bonus feature on the worldwide release of the film's DVD, which sold over two million copies worldwide; a European label quickly snatched up the song. Brian's breakthrough tune had good company; the film also featured platinum superstar artists like The Black Eyed Peas. Brian wrote “Come And Get It” with producer Big Ed Moore, well known for his dance remixes of hits by Paula Cole and Jewel.
Brian is keeping the music placement magic purring even as he puts the finishing touches on his upcoming debut album Bionic and gears up to create a DJ remix package of “WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)” with a group of A-list mixers. The producers of the new summer blockbuster Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer considered using Brian's original pop version in the club scene of the film, but opted to go with a track by EVE (“Tamborine”) as well as Timbaland and The Pussycat Dolls. Once again, Brian finds his music standing up to the hitmakers of today and in very good company.

Brian's inclusion in the last two FOX projects has catapulted him into the ranks of credible up and coming talent in the feature film music scene.
Brian recently completed the old school electro pop track appropriately titled “Electricity”—the final song for Bionic .
“I will call the album Bionic because my music includes a cool, futuristic techno quality and coloring yet its got organic percussion and old school hip-hop beats at the same time,” he says. “My music pulls inspiration from several different genres, pop, old school hip hop and R&B, and also has a fun 80's quality to it. People used to know me as the ‘ballad king,' and I definitely include the simplicity of romantic songs or tearjerkers like ‘Time And Space' but overall, my goal was to make more of an upbeat sounding album.
“The title Bionic not only refers to the record's big beats and strong production and depth of songwriting, but the almost superhuman-like qualities it takes to be in the music business these days,” adds Brian. “I'm literally the ‘DIY' poster guy in the POP world and am tackling this very competitive end of the business regardless of how many hundreds of people tell me it's impossible for anyone to succeed because the industry is falling apart. My goal as a writer, performer and producer is to move people, either by making them get up and dance or by touching their hearts— if I accomplish that, my job Is done.”
A track from Bionic sure to do the latter is Brian's new urban-flavored version of “Champion,” which he wrote a few years ago as the theme song of the 2005 Special Olympics Summer Games. The inspirational song was later released on iTunes, where it caught the attention of corporate giant Wal-mart; Wal-mart licensed the ballad and used it in a campaign for its worldwide internal company conferences designed to motivate employees and revamp their global image.
“I've always felt a connection to the Special Olympics organization because I've always admired its athletes for their great accomplishments even through facing what can seem like insurmountable adversity,” says Brian. “From the time I was very young, I used to assist kids born with massive disabilities during my free time in the summer. I approached the Special Olympics organization in the hopes of donating money from some other projects I was working on. They then took notice of my music and asked me to write an anthem and perform it at their special torch lighting ceremony. This was my very first performance for thousands of spectators and athletes alike. Then in 2006, they had me sing the national anthem at their Winter Games Opening Ceremony. The song is all about taking action. Those athletes have inspired me so much on my journey in this crazy business that I wanted to honor and inspire them just as they have inspired greatness in me. To me, they are all champions.”
Brian's been an unstoppable musical force since he was a kid himself, playing popular radio hits on the piano by ear and spending all the money he earned working part time at the local yogurt shop to fund his first studio recordings at age 13. After winning a spot on NBC's Saturday morning show Name Your Adventure, he found himself writing a song on the spot with BoyzIIMen in front of news cameras, journalists and network execs. The resulting tune “Save Me From The Pain” aired across the country and solidified Brian's rep as a promising young pop songwriter. Now, after a promising start his solo career in Europe, he's coming full circle and aiming for a multi-pronged musical launch here in the States, starting with films, clubs, the dance charts and eventually, Billboard's Hot 100.
“I'm going the dance remix route with ‘WhatsitgonnaB? (I'm So Ready)' as a springboard and a promotional platform to stand on, as part of an exciting grass roots strategy,” Brian says. “A lot of the most popular music out there originally comes from the underground, and I'm enjoying the challenge of working my way up. I've been working for this my entire lifetime, and I want to show people that if you believe in yourself and remain positive in your mind, you can succeed no matter what the odds. It's all about digging deep, embracing the struggle and following your passion. My father always said, ‘if you want something done and done right—DO IT YOURSELF.'”
