Dian Diaz Invades Ft. Irwin - Las Vegas based singer songwriter Dian Diaz trekked out to the desert near Barstow, CA last weekend to Ft. Irwin to perform for military personnel that had returned from duty in Iraq. Diaz and her band performed many of the songs on her self titled CD, including “Colour Everywhere,” which has reached #26 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart.

After the performance, Ft. Irwin's Colonel Philbreck presented Diaz with an award plaque to express the army's appreciation for her appearance.

Singer-songwriter Dian Diaz paid a visit to her hometown radio station, Las Vegas' Sunny 106.5 KSNE to thank them for their support of her debut single “Colour Everywhere” from her self titled CD, via Strip City Records (BDG/RED Distribution) released on March 7. The KSNE morning team Melanie and Tom also pointed out that “Colour Everywhere” is currently on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart at #26 and continues its upward trend.

Later that week, Diaz journeyed to her own backyard, the Borders Books & Music in Henderson, NV, to celebrate the release of her CD.  At the store, Diaz performed a short set and signed autographs for fans, many of who have seen her sing during a long time gig at the Fontana Room at the Bellagio Hotel.

VEGAS BABY! - Music Retail execs from around the country converged at the Bellagio's Fontana Room in Las Vegas for the pre-record release (3/7/6) party of Dian Diaz 's self-titled debut album on Strip City Records, distributed by Brody/RED/Sony. "Colour Everywhere," the initial single from the album is one of the Most Added at A/C radio.

DIAZ DEALS THE CARDS - Even though singer-songwriter Dian Diaz performs in one of the finest casinos in the world, The Bellagio, she does not have much time for gambling. But the Las Vegas resident did get to try out her new poker playing skills at the LG All-Star Poker Show last Sunday at the Palms Hotel. Joining the likes of Paris Hilton, Jenny McCarthy, Coolio, Danny Masterson, Shannon Elizabeth, among others, Dian took part in a No Limit Texas Hold'Em Tournament to win a LG Electronics makeover for their home.

“Colour Everywhere” the debut AC hit single from her self-titled CD (March 2006 release) reached #11 on the FMQB chart. Contributing songwriters to her first album include multiple Grammy award winner Narada Michael Walden (whose credits include Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin), and DJ Jazzy Jeff's Crew out of Philadelphia, who have worked  with Jeff's former partner Will Smith and Jill Scott, among others.
