PUSSY RULES:

80s ICONS JOSIE COTTON AND JOAN JETT HOOK UP AT LA PRIDE FESTIVAL

PHOTO CAPTION: Together at last! Iconoclast rockers Josie Cotton and Joan Jett hang out backstage at the LA Pride Festival in West Hollywood on Saturday, June 9th . Both artists topped the charts in the 80s, but had never met before sharing the bill at the event. A massive audience was reminded why they love rock n' roll as these two music pioneers blasted their hits as well as new tunes.

Cotton's August release of her new record Invasion of the B-Girls (Scruffy Records) features cover versions of B-movie theme songs from the 60s and 70s and follows on the paws of Jett's first CD in 10 years. Still rebels, with claws intact, if it's up to these faster pussycats this could very well be the year of the cat. Meow!
