LILA McCANN COMES A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE FANS WITH NEW TOUR DATES

ANTICIPATION BUILDS FOR NEW ALBUM COMPLETE OUT JUNE 26 

In the last year, Lila McCann has evolved from a Tacoma, Washington high school student singing songs like “I Wanna Fall in Love” and “Crush” to a confident, independent woman living alone in Los Angeles and piloting her own career.  “I’ve never had the opportunity to fully concentrate on my music before,” Lila admits.  “For four years, I had to pick: ‘do I want to go to the prom or do I want to do a show somewhere?’  Now it’s time for me to focus on just two things–my music and my career.”  Such determination has shown to be fruitful, her single “Come A Little Closer” has already been deemed one of the “Most Added” at Country Radio. 

Lila’s third CD, Complete, out in stores June 26^th via Warner Bros. Records, proves that this determined and poised young woman is answering her true calling.  Although Lila is the first to admit she surrounds herself with great advisors, she took the reins on her latest project, from choosing producer David Malloy to song selection to picking the studio musicians that would create the sound she was looking for.  It looks like Lila is coming closer to being Complete.

There’s SOMETHING IN THE AIR and it’s 18-year-old Lila McCann’s dazzling follow-up to her Asylum Records gold debut, LILA. Both were produced by Mark Spiro whose initial foray into country music with the then 15-year-old yeilded hits including "Down Came A Blackbird," and the #1 smash "I Wanna Fall In Love. Something In The Air, her follow-up CD has continued the streak with "With You," and the current single "Kiss Me Now." Additionally, Lila, a full time student (class of 2000) and varsity cheerleader has been declared by Teen People magazine one of "Twenty Teens Who Will Change The World."
