Lila McCann (left) the 17 year-old country music star, full
time student, and part time high school cheerleader, is relieved not be the "new kid
on the block" any more. She recently bumped into 15 year-old newcomer, Jessica
Andrews (right) at the Academy of Country Music Awards media luncheon. The young stars
quickly bonded over making names for themselves in a music business run by (so-called)
adults.
"With You," Lilas latest hit from her
sophomore album, Something in the Air, is currently at the top of the
country music charts. LILA, her debut, was certified "Gold" with sales
approaching 800,000 units.

Country Music Awards. Lila was a presenter on the television broadcast.
"With You" is Lilas current hit single and
video from Something in the Air, the follow-up to LILA, her debut
album which is certified "Gold" and to date has sold over 750,000 units.

Lila McCann, the 17 year-old country music star, full time
student and part-time high school cheerleader, had the pleasure of filming her Country
Music Television (CMT) special on location in Seattle, WA (her hometown area).
She performed four of her hit songs on location at the Petroleum Museum. The museum
houses a visual collection of gas station memorabilia put together over a span of 35 years
by a private collector. CMT has selected Lila to be the July Showcase Artist.

SOMETHING IN THE AIR FOR THIS BUSY MAN Billy Ray Cyrus
and Lila McCann joined other country music notables in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis
at the recent "Sizzlin Country" fundraiser in Los Angeles. Cyrus and
McCann each sang at the event held at the Warner Brothers Studios western backlot. Later,
they both served as presenters at the Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast.
The two were seen backstage discussing acting techniques as McCann
has appeared on "Walker Texas Ranger" and Cyrus begins a starring role next
month on the movie "Radical Jack." Cyrus also recently filmed a role in David
Lynchs upcoming "Mulholland Falls."


Teenage country music sensation, Lila McCann, was recently in
Nashville to shoot the music video of her latest single "Crush" from her
sophomore album Something In The Air (Asylum Records).
The video was directed by Steven Goldmann, whose credits include Faith Hill "The
Kiss" (for which he received a CMA Award), Alan Jackson "Ill Go On Loving
You", Shania Twain "Get Out Of Here" and the young country star herself,
Lila McCann "With You" which recently went to #1 on CMT and also on Great
American Country Channels. "Crush" was shot in a model home outside of Nashville
and special effects were used to send Lila flying up on the ceiling as she experiences her
"crush".

Lila McCann is currently touring in support of her new album, Something
In The Air, which is the follow-up to her Asylum Records gold debut, LILA.
McCanns initial foray yielded three hits: "Down Came A Blackbird,"
the #1 smash "I Wanna Fall In Love," and the powerful, "Almost
Over You."

Lila McCann, the 17 year-old country music star from Tacoma, WA,

Annual KZLA Country Cookout! to benefit the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. The
event was held, Oct. 24th, in front of a sold-out house at the Universal
Amphitheatre in Hollywood, CA.

LILA McCANN TURNS 18 WITH BLOWOUT PARTY IN
NASHVILLE HIGHLIGHT INCLUDES "I GOT YOU BABE"KARAOKE DUET WITH DAVID KERSH
Country starlet, Lila McCann made the plunge into
adulthood with a blowout party to celebrate her 18th birthday at The Boundry
restaurant in Nashville. One of the highlights, after she performed a set of her hits
(from both her CDs LILA and Something In The Air) with her band, was
karaoke with the invited guests. The party was courtesy of her label Asylum Records
and also her manager Kasey Walker.
She performed the theme from "Grease" with her father and
then a duet on "I Got You Babe" with fellow country singer (and her
recent date for the CMAs) David Kersh.

Lila McCann the country music darling met up with Sopranos
Mafia princess Meadow Soprano who is finely portrayed on the HBO hit series
by actress Jamie Lynn Sigler.
Jamie and her on-air sibling Robert Iler (plays Aj Soprano)
got to hang out with Lila at the Rainbow Room in New York City as part of Teen
People Magazines "20 Teens Who Will Change The World"
event. Lila McCann performed "I Will Be" and was honored as one of the "20
Teens
" The Soprano kids were VIP presenters at the event.

Proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association
Country singer
Lila McCann lead approximately 5,500 people on Sunday (9/15) in
a charity walk to raise money for the American Heart Association at the
Ontario Mills Mall in Los Angeles, CA. Lila kicked off The Heartwalk,
accompanied by heart-transplant recipient children that have greatly benefited
from the Heart Association's efforts. After the event, Lila stopped by
the local radio station KFrog's booth to sign autographs and take pictures
with the many fans that showed up to support the cause.
With Lila's help, the event raised over $346,000.00 for the American Heart
Association.

APPERANCE AT KELLOGGS' JAMMIN' JINGLE CONTEST
Platinum-selling
country music star Lila McCann, made an appearance Saturday September
13TH in Mission Viejo, CA at Albertsons. KELLOGGS and the
Country Music Association kicked off a national competition for kids at
Fan Fair in Nashville, TN, that continued throughout the summer. Lila
performed at the event at the Albertsons parking lot and supported
the competition where children performed the new RICE KRISPIES JAMMIN
JINGLE CONTEST. Also, appearing at the event with Lila was country singer
Michelle Wright.

"DOC" SEASON 1 DVD SUPPORTS TOYS FOR TOTS MUSIC ROW CHALLENGE
Home video distribution company Ventura Distribution, Inc., joined
Toys for Tots honorary spokesperson Billy Ray Cyrus by donating 400 childrens
videos and DVDs to the Toys for Tots Middle Tennessee Challenge. Doc
the #1 rated series on PAX TV stars Billy Ray Cyrus and comes to
home video on February 3rd 2004.
"We are proud to support Billy Ray Cyrus and his partnership with
the US Marine Corps and the Toys for Tots organization. Their mission
to deliver new toys and a message of hope to needy children is a cause
we strongly believe in," commented Venturas Jill Schlesinger.
BMG was recognized as the winner of the Challenge for collecting the most
toys for this years children. Overall, the Music Row Challenge collected
over 1000 toys and approximately $8500.00 cash from Music Row businesses,
country artists and many others that joined the Toys for Tots event. In
total, the Toys for Tots campaign in Middle Tennessee raised 24,000 toys
and $15,000 cash.
Country singer Lila McCann was on hand at a press conference held at the
CMA office to present a check for $6600.00, representing the retail dollar
amount of the videos to Rob Kohls, President, USMCR Toys for Tots of Middle
Tennessee.
