In the second round, teams switch partners and compete for another chance at the Winner's Circle. A player is eligible to win up to $25,000 each episode - $10,000 for the first visit to the Winner's Circle, $15,000 for the second by the same player. The $25,000 winners ultimately can compete in a championship series, worth $100,000."

Dear Brave American,

I just wanted to thank you for all your brave efforts to fight this war and be my hero. I realize how scary it must be to be so far from your homeland and family surrounded by an enemy. But always keep in mind that you are constantly in my heart and in the hearts of all the Americans back here in the states. We are all praying for your quick and safe return to us. So hold your head high and remember you are in your country's every thought and prayer. And when the times get tough please think of these words from one of my favorite songs......"I will be here, I will be strong, I'll face my fears when the night is long and still go on. I will be brave, I will be bold, follow my faith to a higher road and I'm not there yet, but I will be".

God Bless You and return you safely to the loving arms of your homeland!

POSTPONED DUE TO INCREASED MILIARTY ACTION

I am so proud of those men and women over there. My brother was a Marine, so my family was behind me going, but also worried about the escalating scenario over there."

Lila McCann is currently finishing up four songs in the studio and more announcements will be forthcoming.

Nashville Gas Announces Lonestar as Grand Marshal
of 50th Annual Christmas Parade

Pre-Parade Entertainment Featuring All–Star Entertainers from
Let’s Roll CD begins at 9 a.m.

Nashville will kick off the holiday season with its 50th Annual Nashville Gas Christmas Parade, Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, beginning at 10 a.m. in Downtown Nashville. The parade is co-sponsored and broadcast live by WKRN (ABC), News 2.

Lonestar, the CMA and ACM vocal group of the year for 2001, will serve as the parade grand marshal. The band is in the midst of recording a greatest hits album, expected to be released next year. Lonestar has sold more than six million albums to date. The band’s smash hit "I’m Already There" sat atop the Billboard country singles chart for six weeks. In addition, the band has recorded seven other No. 1 hits, including "Amazed," "No News" and "What About Now."

"This is a very exciting year for us," said John Clark, vice president of Tennessee operations at Nashville Gas. "We’ve been celebrating the holiday season in Nashville for 50 years, and the parade has become a part of Nashville’s Christmas tradition. We’re honored that Lonestar will be joining us as grand marshal for this anniversary parade."

This year’s parade, entitled "Celebrating Golden Memories," will also feature pre-event activities beginning at 9 a.m. Hosting the activities will be Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated and Dove-award-winning executive/producer/composer, Tony McAnany. He will be introducing songs from his current project, Let’s Roll, including live performances from country artists Lila McCann and Shane Minor. The show will also feature pound-for-pound the World’s Strongest Man, Dennis Rogers, who will perform to the title track of Let’s Roll, recorded by dcTalk. The morning continues with singer songwriter James Curlin, Dove award nominee singer/songwriter Mark Schultz and Platinum selling dcTalk member Michael Tait performing Christmas classics. Pre-parade activities also include the Hillsboro High School show choir, "The SophistiCats" as well as balloon artists and face painting.

McCann and Minor are fresh off the release of a collaborative CD entitled Let’s Roll, inspired by Todd Beamer and the other passengers aboard the United Airlines flight 93 that went down in a rural Pennsylvania area in last year’s Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the Todd M. Beamer Foundation that helps children affected by 9/11 and other disasters. The CD was composed and produced by acclaimed producer Tony McAnany who was a close personal friend of Todd Beamer. The vision of the album is to bring unity, faith and hope to all.

"We added a variety of exciting pre-parade entertainment this year in recognition of our 50th anniversary," Clark said. "We have some wonderful performers who will give an extra spark to the day’s activities. The fact that we can highlight some of the artists who are working with the Todd M. Beamer Foundation makes this addition to our usual activities very special. We encourage families and friends in the area to join us before the parade to make this a very special day."

"It is truly an honor to be part of such an exciting event," McAnany said. "Let’s Roll is meant to inspire people to take courage in all they do. I hope the album can bring peace and unity during the holidays and beyond."

For the second year in a row, the parade route will begin at the Gaylord Entertainment Center and incorporate lower Broadway, 2nd Avenue North and the Woodland St. Bridge, ending at The Nashville Coliseum.

The 22nd Annual Rudolph’s Red Nose Run, also sponsored by Nashville Gas, will precede the Christmas Parade.

The one-mile fun run will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Juvenile Justice Center. The 5k race, also starting at the Juvenile Justice Center, will begin at 9 a.m. Parade attendees can also support the runners as the race route encompasses most of the parade route--Woodland Street Bridge to Second Avenue North to Broadway.

The Red Nose Run has raised more than $200,000 during the course of its 21-year existence. All proceeds from the run benefit the Big Brothers’ Energy Fund to make sure Nashville’s needy stay warm during the cold winter months.

TMB Records Invites All Radio to Honor 9-11 Heroes by Playing "The Lord’s Prayer" from Let’s Roll: Together in Unity, Faith and Hope
***
Congressmen J. C. Watts, House Majority Whip Tom DeLay,Wynonna, Steven Curtis Chapman, Nicole C. Mullen, Lila McCann, Out Of Eden, Jennifer Knapp, James Curlin, Anointed and the Nashville String Machine, among others featured on song

TMB Records invites radio stations from every format to join in unity Sept. 11 at 9:55 am Eastern Time and play The Lord’s Prayer from the album Let’s Roll, an album to benefit the Todd M. Beamer Foundation. An MP3 version of the song is available for radio programmers at www.letsrollmusic.com/formf.

"During the final minutes of United Flight 93, Todd Beamer prayed the Lord’s Prayer and then, along with Jeremy Glick, Mark Bingham, Thomas Burnett and the rest of the passengers of the flight, showed us what ‘united as one’ really means," said Let’s Roll producer, GRAMMY winning/Oscar nominated executive/producer/composer and close friend of Todd Beamer’s, Tony McAnany (Chant, P.O.D).

"It has been reported that the flight ended at 10:03 a.m. on 9-11," continues McAnany. "It is our request that all radio stations around the country AM, FM, web, and satellite, regardless of format, play "The Lord’s Prayer" at 9:55 a.m., the approximate time when Todd would have prayed the Lord’s Prayer with 911 operator Lisa Jefferson."

McAnany, who has worked on recordings that have sold more than 40 million copies, rallied together an all-star cast to perform a special arrangement of "The Lord’s Prayer" for the Let’s Roll CD, including, in order of appearance, Nicole C. Mullen, Steven Curtis Chapman, Joy Williams, Lila McCann, Out Of Eden, Bart Millard (Mercy Me), Jennifer Knapp, Selah, James Curlin, Plumb, Mark Stuart (Audio Adrenaline), Street Called Straight, Wynonna, Jody McBrayer, Jonathan Pierce, Anointed and the Nashville String Machine. The song also features the voices of Congressmen J. C. Watts and House Majority Whip Tom DeLay.

"My hope is that The Lord’s Prayer will become our country’s prayer of unity, faith and hope, regardless of our individual spirituality. As those heroic passengers showed, those words of The Lord’s Prayer can provide peace, comfort, and strength in the worst of times," said McAnany.

In addition to "The Lord’s Prayer," Let’s Roll features 17 more compelling songs that were inspired by the heroism shown on 9-11 and the hope that we all have for tomorrow. Fourteen of its 18 songs are originals, which longtime Beamer family friend McAnany wrote or co-wrote in the aftermath of Sept. 11. The recording will release nationally tomorrow (Sept. 10) through Chordant Distribution Group for the CBA market and through EMD for the general market.

All profits from this tremendously anticipated, genre-spanning collection will benefit The Todd M. Beamer Foundation, whose mission is "to equip children experiencing family trauma to make heroic choices every day." Lisa Beamer, Todd’s widow, who is now the best-selling author of Let’s Roll, launched the organization to honor United Flight 93 and "to extend Todd Beamer’s legacy of character, faith and courage."

LILA MCCANN JOINS AN ALL-STAR LINE-UP ON ALBUM TO HONOR
TODD BEAMER AND OTHER HEROES OF SEPTEMBER 11th
"LET’S ROLL: TOGETHER IN UNITY, FAITH AND HOPE" TO BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 10TH

Country recording artist Lila McCann, accompanied by dcTalk, Wynonna, Chaka Khan, Yo Yo Ma, Shane Minor and many more, has lent her voice and her spirit to the upcoming September 11th tribute album, "Lets Roll: Together in Unity, Faith and Hope."

Lila didn’t have to think twice when asked to sing the track "Who Else Could It Be."

"I found it to be an honor and blessing to be included on the ‘Let's Roll’ album," said Lila, "It's an incredible mix of wonderful music and inspiration. "

The album was inspired by Todd Beamer and the other passengers of United Flight 93, whose heroic actions brought the hijacked United Flight 93 down in a Pennsylvania field saving countless lives. This inspirational project, created by Beamer’s close friend Grammy-winning producer/composer Tony McAnany, benefits The Todd M. Beamer Foundation.

"Tony, was a great guy to work with," said Lila on the experience, "I haven't met many people in my life so full of energy and excitement. We had a great time together recording at the "Sound Kitchen" in Nashville. The ‘Let's Roll’ team took over the studio for over week. It was awesome."

"Let’s Roll" is set to be released Tuesday, September 10th, distributed by EMI Chordant.

Who Else Could It be?
Performed By: Lila McCann
Written by: Tony McAnany, Susan Haynes, Nick Moroch

Were you there when they said it's a girl
Were you my best friend in my make believe world
Were you there for my first ballet
Smiling and dancing with me on that day

Do you know me
Would I Be your Friend
I'm just trying to be who I am

Do you see me here standing alone
Are you here when I'm crying
I feel your spirit all around me
cause you are here
Who Else could it be?

If I wore your shoes
Would I walk the same
Could I stand that tall
Could I be so brave

Am I anything
You hoped I'd Be
I'm just doing my best to be me

Do you see me here standing alone
Are you here when I'm crying
I feel your spirit all around me
cause you are here
Who Else could it be?

LILA MCCANN FANS GATHER IN NASHVILLE FOR A
WILD (ANIMAL) PARTY DURING FAN FAIR
***
FANS GIVE LILA HER OWN EXOTIC ANIMAL AS A VERY BIG PRESENT

NASHVILLE, TN – Country music fans really know how to party during the annual Fan Fair week. Fans from around the country and several foreign countries gathered at the Rainforest Café in Nashville, TN to give kudos to their favorite singing sensation, Lila McCann, at the second annual Lila McCann Fan Club Party. With monkeys hanging from the ceiling, tropical birds keeping watch and elephants peeking out of the leaf-covered walls, McCann met each fan club member and guest with a bright smile and cheery attitude as they enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Half-ways through the meet & greet, McCann took a break and treated the crowd with a short, but powerful acoustic set which included her hit singles, "I Wanna Fall In Love," "With You" and "Come A Little Closer". Fans were also given a taste of her writing skills when she performed her newly-penned ballad, "I Just Can’t Stop Loving You". Undoubtedly the crowd was in awe of the singer’s powerhouse vocals and heartfelt lyrical talents. Everyone left anxious to hear more in the future.

The exotic setting of the Rainforest Café was the perfect choice, considering the large gift McCann received from her fans for her 20th birthday back in December. Loving fans and loyal visitors of LilaFans.com raised funds to adopt an African Elephant in her name with the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. As apart of the adoption, McCann was awarded with a photo and facts about the elephant, an animal conservation book, tickets to the zoo and the Zoo Parent Summer Picnic, a subscription to the zoo newsletter, zoo goodies and a framed certificate of adoption. But that’s not all. Special arrangements have been made for Lila to go behind the scenes and have her very own "elephant experience" where she will get the opportunity to get up-close with the zoo’s elephants.

"The elephant is one of the coolest things anyone has ever given to me. It’s definitely the biggest gift I’ve ever received!"

LILA McCANN NOT THE 'WEAKEST LINK' ON TV GAME SHOW

SHE JOINS MUSIC EPISODE WITH COOLIO, VINCE NEIL, SHEILA E, EDWIN McCAIN, DEBORAH GIBSON, SEBASTIAN BACH AND EVEN A BEACH BOY

Twenty year-old country star Lila McCann, was the youngest but not the "weakest link" when she recently taped an all music episode of "The Weakest Link," the popular primetime TV game show. McCann joined other musical celebrities Coolio, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Sheila E, Deborah (Debbie) Gibson, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, Edwin McCain and Beach Boy Bruce Johnston.

While Lila was not the "weakest link" on the show, viewers will have to check their local listings in April, to see which celebrity made it all the way and raised the most prize money for their favorite charity. "My Friend's Place," the resource center that assists young people on the streets of Hollywood, was assured of at least a $10,000 donation for Lila's appearance on the program.

Next week, McCann will participate in another worthy charity endeavor. She will play softball with Trick Pony and others in the 1st Pitch Celebrity Softball Spectacular, February 22-23 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lila McCann's recent CD is "Complete" on Warner Bros. Records.

AT HOUSE OF BLUES HOLLYWOOD RADD EVENT

Before leaving her teen years and becoming 20 years-old on December 4th, country star Lila McCann participated in a RADD event the day before (Dec. 3rd) at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.  Lila was invited by Recording Artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving, to participate. She performed Crosby, Stills & Nash’s classic “Teach Your Children” while Grammy-wining Kenny Rankin harmonized and played acoustic guitar. Lila also recorded several PSAs for RADD.

To commemorate the occasion, RADD presented Lila with a huge birthday cake that read, “Lila, you are totally RADD. Happy Birthday!” But instead of eating the cake, she delivered it to My Friends Place in Hollywood the resource center that feeds and assists homeless young people. She is a regular contributor and visitor to the center.

At the RADD media event aimed to inform young people to the dangers of drunk driving, a new Aerosmith PSA was premiered, rapper Warren G and rocker Eddie Money also performed among others. Actress Katey Sagal and super model Cheryl Tiegs were among the other notable celebrities taking part.

Explains Lila, “Now that I am no longer a teenager myself, it’s time to start thinking about the perils that face young adults and drinking and driving is a big concern. The rate of fatalities from this has gone up since 1995, so I want to do my part to get the word out.”

Lila McCann is the platinum-selling recording artist who recently released “Complete,” her third album, on Warner Bros. Records.

LILA McCANN LEARNS ABOUT NASCAR RACING FROM A REAL PRO – DALE EARNHARDT JR.

Platinum-selling country star Lila McCann has long wanted to attend a NASCAR-style auto race and the invitation to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee presented the perfect opportunity. Last weekend she not only delivered a sterling rendition to the race’s TNT television audience, not to mention the100, 000 + race fans in attendance at the speedway, but she also went to the right source to find out more about car racing – Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Lila was thrilled to meet Dale Jr. in the pits and also be invited into his Budweiser team trailer to cool down and talk (the track temp. hovered over 100 degrees). After finding out everything she wanted to know about the auto sport from Dale Jr., she was able to return the favor when he asked her advice regarding tour buses. He mentioned he might be in the market for one for his team.

Lila was also suitably dressed for the chitchat with Dale Jr., because the Bristol Motor Speedway outfitted Lila with a custom-made race suit of her own.

Lila McCann is currently promoting Complete, her 3rd album, released recently by Warner Bros. Records.

COUNTRY MUSIC STAR LILA McCANN TAKES TIME OUT FROM TOURING TO VISIT POARCH CREEK INDIAN RESERVATION IN ALABAMA

Lila McCann took a detour on her way to perform at a concert in Mobile, Alabama to visit the Poarch Creek Indian Reservation. Roy Shivers, community relations contact for the tribe, requested Lila’s visit and to his surprise her answer was YES!

Lila, along with her road manager, ventured off the road and headed to the tribe before meeting the rest of the band at her concert scheduled for later that night. Upon arrival Lila was greeted with the utmost appreciation and a wonderful welcome from the youth of the tribe. Dressed in traditional attire the young girls presented Lila with a Dream Catcher that they had made themselves. The Poarch Creek community was so thrilled with Lila’s visit that many more gifts followed: Lila received a basket of blueberries that the senior citizens of the tribe hand picked, an official jersey and cap of the PCI Women’s Softball League, and the Tribal Council presented her with a basket made from pine needles which took three weeks to make due to the long process of bleaching the needles and dying them various colors.

Daniel McGhee, PCI public relations director, comments, "We wanted to show her the three facets of Poarch – gospel singing, Pow Wow and stomp dancing." Lila was so taken by their "honor dance" that she joined in with the people of Poarch while they sang and performed on drums. "It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. I will never forget all the new friends that I have in Poarch, especially those adorable children who greeted me with such pride. It was an honor to be their guest."

Lila is currently on tour, promoting her new Warner Bros. CD, Complete, which has already made a strong showing in its first week on the charts.

RADIO STATION “CAT COUNTRY 94”  BETS COUNTRY STAR LILA McCANN THEY CAN HELP MAKE COMPLETE, HER NEW ALBUM THE BEST SELLING CD THIS WEEK IN CITY OF SPOKANE, WA  IF SUCESSFUL LILA McCANN PROMISES RADIO STATION JOCKS JAY & KEVIN SHE WILL BE THEIR PERMANMENT ROAMING NASHVILLE NEWS CORRESPONDENT

Country star Lila McCann has accepted an unusual challenge for this, the first week of release for Complete, her new album from Warner Bros. Records.  Morning drive disc jockeys Jay & Kevin of Spokane, WA radio station KDRK “Cat Country 94” have a unique and long-standing relationship with Lila. They once surprised Lila by delivering a pot-bellied pig to her house (the pig now lives on her brother’s ranch).

Lila, a Washington-state native, recently re-visited the morning duo and also performed an acoustic set to promote the June 26th release of her album. Jay & Kevin were so moved by Lila’s performance they decided they would help Spokane scan more copies of Complete than any other album during the first week of release. The catch would be that, if successful, Lila would then become their ace-in-the-hole Nashville corespondent they could call upon at anytime to give on-air updates regarding what’s happening in Music City.

“Of course I agreed,” explains Lila. “In fact, any other stations that want to challenge Jay & Kevin for the same deal is fine with me. I live in Los Angeles now anyway, but you pick up a lot of juicy tidbits on the road. I just hope they don’t call me at the crack of dawn everyday.”

Jay & Kevin wasted no time pumping up record sales for Lila’s latest. On release day they opened a Hastings record store at 7 am and broadcast live from the location encouraging their listeners to come down and even buy multiple copies as gifts. So far, so good: Complete was that Hastings location’s  #1 selling CD for the day. More sales updates from Spokane to follow.

LILA McCANN’S NEW SINGLE "COME A LITTLE CLOSER" ONE OF THE "MOST ADDED" AT COUNTRY RADIO MUSIC VIDEO FOR "COME A LITTLE CLOSER" TO LENSE IN LOS ANGELES ON APRIL 25TH

"Come A Little Closer," the debut single from Lila McCann’s forthcoming CD, COMPLETE, is one of the "most added" songs at country radio this week. The playfully teasing up-tempo, was written by Tony Marty, Philip Douglas and Jennifer Sherrill.

LILA McCANN AND GRAND OLE OPRY "COME A LITTLE CLOSER"

Lila McCann, the 19 year-old singer, who has already sold over 1.5 million albums to date, will be marking her return to the revered Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, on the evening of February 23rd. Lila will be performing "Come A Little Closer," her latest song and also her previous chart-topper, "I Wanna Fall In Love."

In other Lila McCann news: She recently rushed to Nashville to record "Whisper The Words," a last minute addition to the album, with her producer David Malloy (Grammy-nominated for Billy Gillman). Since she was visiting her family in Tacoma, WA, when she received the call to come to StarStruck studios, Lila needed to bring her dog Shugar (that's how she spells it to "not confuse with the white stuff"), a miniature Yorkshire Terrier. To keep things focused on the music at hand, producer Malloy cleverly brought in Toby, his dog, to keep Shugar occupied while he and Lila recorded her new song.

And since Fan Fair is also around the corner, Lila has decided her Fan Fair booth this year hould be a tribute to her fans. Lila wants to decorate the booth entirely from submissions from her fans. This means the fans are being encouraged to send in handmade posters, collages, photos, and anything else they feel would be appropriate. Submissions can be sent to Lila Fan Fair 2001 c/o Lila McCann Fan Club, 3800A Bridgeport Way West, Suite 533, University Place, WA 98466.

Explains Lila, "I was blessed to have grown up with supportive family, friends and adults in my life who nurtured and supported my dreams. There wouldn’t be any Gold records without their encouragement. Since becoming involved with My Friend’s Place, I know there are so many young people who are discouraged and abused by the people they trusted and now by the harshness of a big city. This is the least I can do for them and plan to do much more in the future. I already feel this is a remarkable birthday that will always be very special."

My Friend’s Place is a non profit organization that provides a safe haven for homeless youth on the streets of Hollywood. The facility serves young people facing life’s most difficult challenges socially, emotionally, and physically. My Friend’s Place provides meals, a safe environment and safety from the streets. Their low-pressure approach makes it one of the most heavily accessed sites of it’s kind in Southern California, in spite of the fact that it is one of the smallest. For more information regarding My Friend’s Place contact June Rich, Director of Development at 323-908-0011 ext. 2.

During an online chat with CountryCool.com, to promote her new single "Kiss Me Now," her fans recommended over 600 name suggestions. Lila chose D-O-G (pronounced DeeOGee -- like the sound of spelling the word dog).

Lila is sending Tony Fraser from Ontario, Canada, who suggested the clever moniker, an autographed photo of her with D-O-G.

Upon graduation from high school in June, Lila plans to take her new dog on the tour bus for the entire summer.
